Summer school sports day

During the summer holidays (end of June to end of August) King’s College Saint Michael’s uses its expertise and facilities to provide intensive English language courses as part of an incredibly popular junior summer school.  The summer school is aimed at students from 10 – 17 years old, and these students come from all over the world to improve their English, meet students from other countries and explore different parts of the UK.  Every year around 25 different nationalities come to Saint Michael’s for the junior summer school and many of these students return summer after summer.

Our expert teachers ensure that each lesson has specific learning objectives, whilst our sports and social team are always at hand to provide students with a wide range of fun activities and sports designed to increase students’ confidence in spoken English.  Our main aim is to create a warm and friendly junior summer school where students learn English whilst having fun.

The aims of our junior summer school are as follows:

  •  to help students learn as much English as possible in their time during the summer school
  •  to ensure that students have an enjoyable summer holiday with us
  •  to encourage students to make new friends from all over the world
